WOW subs top 10 million, Activision profits rise
Azeroth is filling up again. In the financial report of its third quarter of fiscal 2013, which ended on September 30th, Activision reiterated today that WoW Cataclysm Classic 's subscriber base has grown to more than 10 million users. This is an increase of 900,000 over 9.1 million figures that was reported in August. It also is following the September launch of the fourth expansion to the game: Mists of Pandaria.
In the end, Activision had a rosy period. The company earned $226 in earnings, an increase from the $148 million it earned the same time the previous year. Net revenues for the time totaled $841 million. This is an improvement over the previous year's total which was $754 million. Digital channels at cheap WoW cataclysm Gold Activision were an area of strength for the firm. Digital channels' net revenues were $430 million, which is 51 percent of the net revenue.
